Merchandising & Events Manager Trev Burt

Trev Burt has worked for Premier Performance for the past nine and a half years in various roles. He began in 2008 as a member of our Technical Sales team. Trev was promoted to manage that team in 2014, and then to the position of Southeast Regional Manager in 2015. In 2016, that role evolved into the position of Eastern Business Development Manager.

Now, Premier is excited to announce that Trev is spearheading a new program to better serve our brick & mortar dealers. He recently took over the new position of Merchandising & Events Manager. In this role, Trev will be responsible for helping customers to best use their showrooms to improve sales potential.

How Premier Can Bring You Success

We know that we are lucky to work with the most knowledgeable and dedicated jobbers in the auto industry. We also know that owning and managing a small business is tough work.

That’s where Premier Performance and Trev come in. Our relationships with manufacturers, knowledge of  POP displays, and other tools will bring great value to our dealers. Trev will be working hands-on with customers, visiting their shops, and developing plans to increase revenue. He will also help teach our dealers about how to position popular product lines and introduce new ones. Premier is excited about Trev’s new position, and he is eager to get out and help our customers.

Premier Performance Test Vehicle Program

Trev is also responsible for managing another one of the key programs that sets Premier apart: our Test Vehicle Program. Our staff of experts tests the products we carry on their own personal vehicles. This way, we gain first-hand knowledge that can’t be gained anywhere else. We share this insight with all our salespeople, vendors who supply the products, and of course, with our customers.

Trev’s automotive product knowledge starts with being an enthusiast himself. Trev has owned several vehicles, including a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Currently, he is driving a 2017 RAM 1500 Rebel. The three things that Trev puts on all of his trucks are:

  • Exhaust Kit
  • Intake
  • Tuner

So far, his current truck has an S&B Filters intake, an Access Tonneau Cover, and a Bedrug Bed Liner. Stay tuned for our next install on Trev’s truck!

Beyond Distributing – Contributing

Trev’s new position at Premier is part of a broader drive for Premier. In 2018, our goal will be finding new and innovative ways that we can contribute to our customers’ success.

At Premier, we know that our success starts with our customers’ success. That’s why we are investing in the diesel industry and in our customers. Programs like our Test Vehicle Program allow us to share a wealth of product knowledge with our customers. In addition, our new Merchandising Program will help our customers create more demand for products. We have always prided ourselves on being the industry leaders in product knowledge, and now we’re applying that same attitude to other aspects of our business. Working with Premier means working with a partner that is invested in you and your success. Trev’s experience on our Tech Sales team, and his new position as Merchandising & Events Manager, is a testament to that fact.
